For the second straight season, the WNBA has found itself going viral because of sex toys causing on-court disruptions. On Thursday night, a game between the Atlanta Dream and Los Angeles Sparks was interrupted when a green dildo was thrown on the court.
That continued on Friday night during a game between the Chicago Sky and Golden State Valkyries, with multiple dildos being launched from the crowd.

Three of the sex toys were thrown onto the court during Friday night’s game.
After the game, Sky guard Natasha Cloud ripped into the culprits, ruthlessly insulting them in a NSFW rant from behind the mic at the post-game press conference.
Cloud is clearly sick and tired of the distractions, and labeled the offenders as “weak” and “lame as f*ck.” Cloud, who is part of the LGBT community, did receive some criticism herself after her comments, which took some deeply personal shots.

Cloud’s teammate, Syndey Taylor, struggled to hold back her laughter as Cloud sounded off.
“Y’all lame as f*ck, sorry mom,” Cloud said, as transcribed by AwfulAnnouncing.com. “In most of these occasions, it’s men. I want you to know that is the gayest thing that you can do, is to go to a store, a sex shop, buy a dildo, come to a women’s game, to throw the dildo on the court. That is the gayest sh*t that I’ve ever heard. I’m a firm believer in anyone that has so much problem with a certain marginalized group, just come out and say that you’re a part of our marginalized group, because that hate is unwarranted. It’s not factual.”
“And it says more about the internal struggles of that individual than it ever will say about the collective group. The men that are throwing it, it also shows that you are weak, like extremely weak. And it says a lot about how you feel about women. You don’t care about the disruption of the game, you all lame as sh*t, you all gay to us. We see it. Keep throwing them if you just want to keep telling us you’re gay.”
While Cloud may have gone a step too far with her comments, the frustration from players is understandable. Not only does the trolling cause an in-game distraction, but it leads to more jokes on social media about the league, which is already disrespected.
There are too many distractions taking away from the stellar play that has been on display this season.
