According to a news release, the Gulf Breeze Rotary Soundside Satellite Club’s third annual Outreach Against Trafficking Humans (OATH) Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, Sept. 11, at The Club at Hidden Creek, located at 3070 P.G.A Blvd in Navarre.
“Human trafficking is not an issue communities can address from a distance. It takes informed residents, strong local organizations, and sustained resources,” said Chairperson of the Gulf Breeze Rotary Soundside Satellite Club Jeff Fletcher. “This tournament gives golfers and businesses a direct way to support that work while strengthening community connections.”
Registration for the four-person scramble tournament will cost $125 per player or $500 per four-person team, according to a Gulf Breeze Rotary Soundside Satellite Club news release.
Veterans and first responders can register at a reduced rate of $100 per player in honor of 9/11, according to the news release.
The release said check-in begins at 8 a.m., with the shotgun start at 9 a.m.
“The four-person scramble will unite golfers, businesses and community partners to raise funds for local charities that work to prevent human trafficking and assist those affected by it,” according to the news release. “One hundred percent of tournament proceeds will support local charitable organizations advancing this work.”
