The 2026 regular WNBA season comes to an end next month, and there are already a number of players in contention to be named this year’s MVP.
Caitlin Clark continues to shine for the Indiana Fever and recently finished a game with 37 points and 10 assists.
Elsewhere, her Fever teammate, Kelsey Mitchell, is one of the highest scorers in the league and now holds the record for most games in a row with at least 20 points scored.
As ever, though, multi-time WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson is in great form and could pick up another award this season.

Back on May 5, 2026, the WNBA released the results of their 2026 WNBA GM Survey.
It asked the 15 general managers to assess things like the best teams, players, coaches, etc.
On the MVP front, it was revealed at the time that ‘A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces was selected as the player most likely to win the MVP honour this season’.
Should she do so, it would be the fifth time in her career the Aces star has picked up the award, already boasting the record for most MVP titles won in the WNBA (4).
At the time of writing, Wilson is averaging 26.0 points in 2026, which is the most in the division ahead of Mitchell (24.8) and Clark (22.1).
