TYRONE — John Taylor and Joe Petta both carded a 2-under par score of 70 to share the Sinking Valley Country Club’s Senior Club Championship on Saturday.

Artie Fink Jr. shot a 1-under par 71 to finish third in the 50-59 flight.

Greg Ferguson carded an even-par score of 72 to win the 60-69 flight, three strokes ahead of Steve Monahan, who was the overall net champion with a 69.

Mike Sweitzer and Don McCaulley each carded a 77 to share the 70+ flight championship.

Joe Petta (50-59) and Don McCaulley (70+) joined Monahan as gross champions in their age groups.

Iron Masters

ROARING SPRING — The team of Wally Clapper, Don McCready and Dave Rogalski combined to shoot a 122 to win the Three-Man Scramble event held at the Iron Masters Country Club.

There was a two-way tie for second place at 127 between the teams of Spencer Hinish, Mike Emerick, Bob Snyder and Steve Beach, Mase McCreary, Larry Hoffner.

Sylvan Hills

HOLLIDAYSBURG — Luke Grove and Nick Matteson won the Monday league at Sylvan Hills Golf Course.

Sam Liberman and Robin Weaver won the B Flight. Brenda Flick and Kim Straesser won the C Flight, and Andy Beisinger and Luke McGuffin won the D Flight.

Ken Cameron and Gerry Rubritz tied Rodger Fair and Dave Biseli for the low gross score of 46 in Sylvan Hills Golf Course’s alternate-shot final match. Cameron and Rubritz won the low net at 37.

Biseli and Coltyn Wagner won closest-to-the-pin honors.

Summit

CRESSON — The team of Quintin Dziabo, Dale Reffner and Rick Marshall shot a two-day scramble score of 125 in the Summit County Club’s Summer Blast Three-Man Scramble to win it by four strokes.

Jason Steinbugl, Brodie O’Donnell and John Slovikosky were second.
