Now, Kanter has taken his campaign directly to Engelbert and the WNBA task force.
In a post on X, Kanter described himself as more of a ‘peacemaker’ than a troublemaker before calling for an open discussion.
‘The whole world is laughing at you. You have turned the WNBA into a laughingstock,’ Kanter wrote.
He then urged the league to stop relying on private meetings and instead address the issue publicly.
‘Let’s have the peace summit. No shouting. No hiding. No carefully scripted statements,’ he added.
Kanter also proposed Jenner as the moderator, claiming he had already spoken with her and that she was willing to take part.
‘Let’s sit across the table from each other, have an open and respectful conversation, and address the questions millions of people are asking,’ he said.

The controversy centres on the WNBA’s eligibility rules, with the league’s Collective Bargaining Agreement stating that players must be women but, according to the reports, not providing precise guidelines on transgender athletes or biological sex testing.
Kanter has previously argued that the lack of a specific definition leaves him technically eligible to enter the league.
His latest move keeps the issue firmly in the spotlight, while putting the ball in Engelbert’s court.
