Yavapai College Women’s Soccer hosted Pima Community College at Amphitheater Park in Prescott Valley on Sat. Aug. 29. Despite four shots from Eliza Palmer and five saves from goalie Jessica Welch, the Roughriders fell 0-4.
Yavapai Women’s Soccer is now 1-2 this season. They are at Scottsdale Community College on Mon. Aug. 31.
The home match for Yavapai Men’s Soccer against Pima Community College on the same day was canceled due to lightning. Their next match is at home against Phoenix College on Tue. Sep. 1.
Yavapai College Women’s Volleyball visited Chandler-Gilbert Community College on Sat. Aug. 29 but lost to the Coyotes 3-1. Jada Adams had eight kills, and Keyara Haywood and Valerie Sabalza each had six. Catilin Celestino had 10 digs, and McKenzie Wright had two services aces.
The Yavapai College Volleyball Invitational is this weekend, Fri. and Sat. Sep. 4-5.
