The league is now on a short break for the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup, which Clark will be competing at.
When the WNBA returns, the Fever have four more regular-season games to play before they kick off their playoff campaign.
It has now been revealed that if they keep up their current average points total in their remaining clashes, they will shatter the league record.

The Fever recently put out a piece explaining why Clark and Mitchell could be in contention to be crowned the MVP this year.
When doing so, they revealed: “With four games remaining, the Fever are averaging 97 points per game, which would shatter the previous league record of 93.9 points per game set by Phoenix in 2010.”
That would be a remarkable record and goes a long way to showing just how good Clark and Kelsey have been this season.
Mitchell (25.0) has the second-highest points-per-game average in the WNBA in 2026 behind A’ja Wilson.
Clark is then third on the list with an average of 22.5 so far this season.
Neither player may be able to catch Wilson in the remaining games, but their combined scoring power has helped the Fever put up some big numbers this year.
