MARQUETTE, Mich. — The Northern Michigan University men’s and women’s golf teams and head coach Ben Johnson have announced its fall 2026 slate of tournaments.
“This schedule gives our student-athletes the chance to compete at a high level while continuing to develop on and off the course,” adds Johnson. Ben, who was a former student-athlete with the Wildcat program, was hired as an assistant coach in 2023 before a promotion to head coach in September of 2024. “We’re excited for the season ahead and look forward to representing NMU every step of the way. We brought on some great talent, and we can’t wait to get the season started.”
The Wildcats start with the Bulldog Classic, a tournament where both teams compete, running from September 14-15. The women round out September at the Warrior Invitational the following week, running from September 21-22.
The calendar turns over to October with the Flyer Fall Intercollegiate tournament, running from October 5-6, with both teams competing. The final combined tournament of the fall takes place on October 17-18 with the Panther Invitational before the men turn around and compete at the Warrior Invitational just a day later, running from October 19-20.
