Angel Reese's two-word reaction to WNBA announcement - RAW CHILI

Angel Reese received another honor from the WNBA following her strong performances last week. She made league history anew by recording the most double-doubles in a season and most rebounds in a game. The Atlanta Dream forward shared her reaction to the announcement on her Instagram story.

She is currently in Berlin with her Team USA teammates for the FIBA World Cup. The tournament will open on Friday, with the Americans favored to capture their eighth consecutive title. The team will heavily rely on her inside presence and her rebounding to help them achieve glory.

The 24-year-old is averaging 16.1 points, 12.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists through 39 games. She has been a significant contributor in establishing Atlanta’s 26-14 record for the season with four games left. The team is battling for a top-three seed with the Las Vegas Aces and Indiana Fever.

The Dream announced on Tuesday that the WNBA named Reese Player of the Week for the second straight time. The graphic included her stats.

“More history means more milestones 🙌 After averaging a 14.7 PPG, 17.7 REB double-double, setting the new WNBA record for rebounds in a game, surpassing the single-season rebounds record of 451, AND earning a new league record for double-doubles in a season, @angel.reese is your Eastern Conference Player of the Week 🏆,” the team wrote.

Reese included a two-word reaction on her story.

“🙏🏽MORE BLESSINGS🙏🏽,” Reese wrote.

She and Atlanta will return to action on Sept. 17 to face the Connecticut Sun at Gateway Center Arena. They will host another home fixture versus the Chicago Sky two days later at State Farm Arena. The Dream will wrap up their regular-season schedule with two games against the New York Liberty. Every win is crucial as they tie for fourth place with the Fever and trail the Aces by one game.
