Carlisle, Pa. (September 7, 2026) — Alvernia’s Brody Calle tied an individual score program record as three Golden Wolves broke par on day two of the Dickinson Fall Invitational. Calle’s round, partnered with two record-breaking team rounds, was enough for a third-place finish at the Dickinson Fall Invitational Sunday and Monday at Carlisle Barracks Golf Club with a final score of 576.
The Golden Wolves traveled with both a Maroon and Gold Squad to compete in the invitational. The Maroon squad consisted of Brody Calle, Miyeon Kim, Quinlan Hood, Matthew Overholt, and Zachary Neuin. The Gold team consisted of Chase Smith, Chase Carr, Matthew Gagliardi, Austen Brazeau, and Gabe Arick.
The Golden Wolves Maroon squad followed a team score record of 293 on day one with a team score 10 strokes under that at 283 just 24 hours after they broke the program’s previous score record. Calle led the way and etched himself in the record books and tied the record previously set by Owen Wisner back in 2022, who shot a 68, four under par, at the Mason-Dixon College Classic at Waynesboro Country Club. Calle, who finished the event tied for second in the field, kicked off his record-tying round with three pars and a bogey to put himself at one over through four holes. After he birdied hole five, Calle went into the turn with back-to-back birdies and continued to strike the ball well on the back nine. In the remaining 13 holes, Calle scored par or better, including four more birdies on holes eight, nine, 11 and 16, respectively. His five birdies and one bogey tie for the program individual record at 68, which put him at 138 through both days of competition.
Miyeon Kim built off a strong first round and finished tied for 13th after he shot one under par at a 71. Kim started his round with a birdie and was back to even just a hole later. Kim fired five straight holes of par or better that included birdies on holes five and seven. Despite being even at the turn, Kim battled on the back nine and opened it up with a birdie on 10, 15 and 16, grouped with two bogeys that left him at one under par on the day and 144 in the tournament.
Quinlan Hood also shot one under on the day to finish tied for 27th in the field. After he found himself one over par through the front nine, Hood fired five pars and three birdies on the back nine to finish at one under. Hood shot par or better in his final five holes and finished his round with birdies on holes 15, 16 and 18 to finish the event at 146.
Zachary Neuin also played a role in the group’s record-breaking round with a score of 73. Neuin finished the front nine at one under but hit a flurry of bogeys to start his back nine that placed him at one over. Neuin’s round was highlighted by 11 pars and three birdies. Neuin finished the round tied for 38th with a final score of 148.
Matthew Overholt also participated for the Golden Wolves and shot a total of 149 in the event with a 75 on day one and an improved 74 on day two.
The Gold squad finished 24th in the event with a final score of 629. Chase Smith tied for 38th with a final score of 148 through both rounds with an impressive two under on day two. Behind him was Chase Carr who shot a 158 over the course of both rounds. Gagliardi shot a 160 with an 80 on both days. Finally, Austen Brazeau and Gabe Arick both shot 166 through both rounds to round things out for the Gold squad.
The Golden Wolves Maroon squad finished the Dickinson Fall Invitational in third place after they climbed three spots after day one. Albright’s Andrew Kowalinski finished in first place at eight under through both days. Gettysburg finished in first place with a team score of 10 under.
The Golden Wolves are back in action tomorrow, September 8, at the Elizabethtown Fall Invitational at Hershey Country Club.
