Tennis Channel launches on Roku in US
Tennis Channel has announced its launch as a Premium Subscription on The Roku Channel in the US. Tennis Channel offers viewers a single home for Tennis Channel and Tennis Channel 2 for $11.99 a month.
“Roku reaches more than half of all US broadband households and over 100 million streaming households worldwide,” commented Jeff Blackburn, Chairman and CEO, Tennis Channel. “That’s the kind of scale that puts Tennis Channel in front of one of the most engaged audiences in television.”
Tennis Channel’s reach continues to grow, both on broadcast and streaming, delivering extensive live tennis coverage. Across its platforms, fans can watch professional tennis played 52 weeks a year, with coverage spanning more than 100 tournaments and thousands of matches across the Association of Tennis Professionals and Women’s Tennis Association tours, international team competitions, and marquee events.
“Professional tennis is a nearly year-round sport, and fans need it to be easy to find the matches and content they want,” added Gil Fuchsberg, President of Subscriptions, Partnerships and Corporate Development at Roku. “Adding Tennis Channel to Premium Subscriptions makes it simpler for fans to find and subscribe to what they love in one place, while meaningfully expanding our sports offerings. Tennis Channel has built a passionate audience of fans, and we’re proud to help accelerate that growth.”
Live sports content from Tennis Channel will also be integrated into Roku Sports Zone, the platform’s central hub for sports discovery and deeper fan engagement.
