FARMINGDALE, N.Y. — The Boston College Men’s Golf team will head back to the state of N.Y. for the second straight invitational in as many weeks as they set their sights on the Doc Gimmler Invitational, hosted by St. John’s University.

The tournament will take place on the Bethpage State Park Red Course in Farmingdale, N.Y. Competition will commence on Sept. 12, with rounds one and two, followed by round three on Sept. 13. The Red Course measures 7,092 yards and will be par 70. This will be the first time the Eagles have competed on the Farmingdale, N.Y. course since the 2009-2010 season.

Bethpage State Park, “a mecca for public golf,” has five different courses, and the Red Course is thought to be one of the hardest of any that the park has, according to the park’s website. The course features a few par-4 holes with far distances.

The Eagles are coming off the Red Bandanna Invitational in which the team placed fourth overall in a field of 11 teams. However, the maroon & gold were missing senior Markus Lam, who was competing in the 31st Asia-Pacific Amateur Golf Team Championship, where he was named Nomura Cup Champion. Lam is set to make his 2026-2027 debut in Farmingdale.

Tee time for round one on Saturday will be set for 7:30 a.m. Round three will begin at the same time on Sunday.
