The UConn men’s basketball program learned its conference schedule on Monday, as the Big East released the complete league slate.

UConn will begin the conference season on Dec. 23 against Georgetown, the first of a 20-game true round robin that ends on March 6 at Xavier.

The Huskies will look to take home the conference regular-season title for the first time since 2024, after St. John’s won it in each of the past two seasons. Rick Pitino’s Red Storm finished 18-2 in the league, (30-7 overall) last season and edged UConn (34-6, 17-3) by a game in the standings. St. John’s has also won each of the past two Big East tournaments.

This season will be UConn’s 41st in the Big East. The Huskies are 409-263 (.609) all-time in Big East regular season action. UConn has been the league’s most successful in winning championships, holding or tying the league record with eight conference tournament titles and 11 regular season crowns.

Since returning to the conference ahead of the 2020-21 season, UConn is a league-best 86-30 (.741) in regular season Big East play. The Huskies have finished top-four in the league standings in each of the last six seasons and reached the semifinals of the conference tournament every year, including two trips to the title game in the last three seasons and the 2024 dual crown.
