A couple of local high school boys tennis programs met for a non-league dual meet on Monday afternoon when Riverview trekked its way over to Brownstown Woodhaven.
Something potentially had to give when these two shared the courts.
Riverview came in having lost each of its first four duals of the season, the most recent of which was a 6-2 meet score vs Wyandotte Roosevelt on Sep 11. That same day, Woodhaven was handed its third loss in as many duals this fall when it fell to Dearborn Divine Child by a score of 5-3.
Perhaps fittingly, both the visiting Pirates and hometown Warriors will have to try again for their first respective wins of the season after settling for a 4-4 draw on Monday.
