TYRONE — In a rematch of last year’s District 6 Class 3A boys soccer championship won by Hollidaysburg in overtime, the Golden Tigers tied Tyrone, 1-1, after a game-equalizing goal from Devin Walters in the second half on Monday in high school action.
Gavin Tuskovich scored the Golden Eagles’ goal in the first half. Tyrone is 5-0-1 while Hollidaysburg is now 3-1-1

ROARING SPRING — Christian Reese, Carter Bookhammer and Owen Huber scored goals for Central in a 3-2 win over Clearfield in high school boys soccer on Monday.
Ben McIntier and Jacob Heuston added assists for the Scarlet Dragons, who scored three first-half goals and held on in the second half for the win.
