Arizona State (1-1) opened its season with a 70-7 win over Morgan State, but had far worse luck in the team’s next contest, a 48-20 loss to Texas A&M. Cutter Boley threw a pair of touchdown passes to Reed Harris, but he was also picked off twice, with both interceptions being returned for fourth-quarter Aggie touchdowns.
Kansas (1-1) is also coming off a loss, falling 38-21 to rival Missouri last Friday. Quarterback Isaiah Marshall threw a pair of touchdowns, but those two passes were really his only highlights as he finished the day 13-for-30 for 168 yards with two interceptions. The Jayhawks will now hope that this trip to the UK is the remedy it needs for its passing game.
