The largest and most competitive NASCAR / ARCA Menards Series, West and Speed Tour Super Modified fields to race at Madera Speedway in several seasons collide for the Mission Foods Harvest Classic, Saturday September 26. They will be joined by NCMA Sprint Cars, INEX Legends, and vintage racing as part of the 53rd annual event presented by the West Coast Stock Car / Motorsports Hall of Fame.
 
Grandstands open at 1:25pm when practice begins. Qualifying begins at 3:45pm with the ARCA Menards Series, West qualifying at 4:30pm. Heat races and the INEX Legends main event follow. The free Fan Fest is at 6pm with on track autographs featuring the West Series, Super Modified, and Sprint Cars on the track.
 
The ARCA Menards Series, West “Madera 150” goes green at 7:15pm. The NCMA Sprint Car feature in honor of Dick Whalen and the Super Modified feature in honor of Donnie Large, Sr. will follow.
 
Adult tickets are $40 while kids ages 6-12 are $25. Kids 5 and under are free. Tickets will be available at the gates or at www.racemadera.com  California gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton will serve as the Grand Marshal for the celebration of horsepower and speed in the central valley.
 
2026 ARCA West points leader Trevor Huddleston is the two-time defending winner of the Madera 150, leading over 20 expected entries into battle. A host of Madera Jr. Late Model graduates are in the field, including Cole Denton, Robbie Kennealy, Hailie Deegan, Joey Iest, and Kenna Mitchell. The most recent series winner is Manteca’s Ethan Nascimento, himself a former 51FIFTY Jr. Late Model Series champion. Nascimento scored in the 150-lap contest at Roseville’s All American Speedway.
 
Davey Hamilton, Sr. has dominated the Harvest Classic for Super Modifieds, winning the last two editions as part of his numberous triumphs in the famed event at the fastest one-third mile in the west. His closest battles have come against Fresno’s Jim Birges who currently leads the 2026 Speed Tour series standings. 17 teams have entered for the 40-lap high speed race.
 
The NCMA Sprint Cars will race for 30-laps in their 2026 season finale. Multiple time USAC and NCMA champion Tony Hunt leads the championship standings but has been denied victory in the Harvest Classic. The 2025 edition was grabbed by Chowchilla’s Eric Humphries while Shauna Hogg of Fair Oaks won the 2024 race. Both Open Wheel features will be recorded for a later RACER Network telecast as well.
 
Antonio Gonzales of Turlock is the top driver in the 2026 INEX Legends field with a 30-lap feature scheduled. Legends of Kearney Bowl will participate in a 12-lap feature as well.
 
Action gets underway on Friday evening with an optional practice which includes the ARCA West cars running from 7pm to 9:30pm. Saturday pit gates open at 11am with a drivers meeting at 12pm.
