LIVE SCORING: Live scoring is available on SCOREBOARD and can be accessed HERE.

SIXTH-STRAIGHT YEAR: 2026 marks the sixth-consecutive year in which Boise State has participated in the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational. The Broncos finished 12th last season but won the event outright by 10 strokes in 2021.

LAST TIME OUT: In the CDA National Reserve Invitational, Boise State captured its first top-three finish of the season, and ninth under head coach David Trainor in a non-dual event. The team shot 871 (+7), with Reese Knox and Luke Cushman finishing in the top 10 and top 25, respectively.

LEADING THE TEAM: Knox led the team in the CDA National Reserve Invitational, shooting 213 (-3) while placing sixth in the tournament. His sixth-place finish tied his personal best and signified the third top-10 finish of his career. Cushman, who fired 220 (+4), notched two eagles in the event and captured his eighth top-25 placement in his Boise State tenure.

A SIGNIFICANT FIRST IMPRESSION: Making his Boise State debut in the Island Resort Classic (Sept. 6-7), Trevor Garus fired 209 (-7), carded rounds of 70-69-70, and shot par or better on 48 of his 54 holes. His seventh-place finish signified the first time he’s concluded a tournament in the top 10, and his 209 set a personal best for lowest 54-hole tournament score.

FRESHMEN EARNING THEIR KEEP: Boise State has two freshmen on its roster, both of whom have made their collegiate debut in the first two tournaments. Justin Anderson appeared in both tournaments, while Harry Thomas saw his first action in the CDA National Reserve Invitational.

80 OR MORE: Led by head coach David Trainor, who is in his fifth season at the helm in 2026-27, Boise State is seeking its third-consecutive 80-win season. After notching just 39 wins in 2023-24, the Broncos were 88-63-3 in 2024-25 and 84-79-3 in 2025-26.

SEASONED RETURNERS: Returning for the Broncos are three key contributors from last year’s team. Luke Cushman, Chase Gorder and Reese Knox combined for 10 top-25 finishes a year ago, including Knox who had the second most on the team with five.

FRESH FACES: Boise State’s 2026-27 roster features four new faces, including three from the state of Idaho. Anderson is from Idaho Falls, while Garus and senior Dylan Rodgers are from Boise and Meridian, respectively.
