Dundee United can confirm Miller Thomson has joined William Hill Championship side Stenhousemuir on loan until 4th January 2027.

The midfielder has endured a frustrating last few months on the sidelines through injury and will look to build his match sharpness and minutes with the Championship leaders.

The Warriors currently sit eight points clear at the top of the Championship, under the stewardship of Marvin Bartley, and will look to push for a place in the Premiership for the first time.

Already in possession of two Championship winners’ medals, Thomson will be looking to help Stenhousemuir maintain their early season form during his time on loan.

Speaking on the temporary switch, Jim Goodwin said: “We feel this is a great opportunity for Miller to get consistent game time under his belt as he returns to full fitness.

“He’s had some bad luck in the past year with injuries, and this loan will hopefully get him the minutes and confidence to really kick on this season.

“We’ll all be keeping a close eye on his development and look forward to tracking his progress at Stenhousemuir.”

Everybody at the club wishes Miller and Stenhousemuir the very best of luck for the upcoming months.
