Abington Heights and Honesdale advanced to the Lackawanna Golf League Class 3A final by winning their semifinal matches Thursday.

Sebastian Meyer had birdies on Nos. 1, 7 and 9 and earned medalist honors with a 2-under-par 34 at Glen Oak Country Club, leading Abington Heights to a 149-184 victory over West Scranton.

William Yoo added birdies on Nos. 3 and 5 for the Comets and Gavin Peters birdied No. 7.

Adam Holman and Julian Poniatiwski each shot 43 and Colin May birdied No. 4 for the Invaders.

Honesdale 161, Delaware Valley 180: At Honesdale Golf Club, Trevan Dahlgren, Reed Howell and Maddox Johnson were tri-medalists with 40 as the Hornets defeated Delaware Valley in their Class 3A semifinal.

Dahlgren carded two birdies, while Johnson and Reese Dennis each had one.

Honesdale and Abington Heights will meet in the Class 3A 18-hole final at Elkview Country Club on Wednesday at noon.

Scranton Prep 152, Dunmore 194: At Glenmaura National, Cole Powell and Brendan Bell each shot 1-over-par 36 to share medalist honors and lead Scranton Prep past Dunmore in the Lackawanna League Class 2A quarterfinals.

Bobby Stott had three birdies and finished with a 37 for the Cavaliers. Powell and Jack Pavuk had one birdie apiece.

Ralph Steeves led the Bucks with a 46.

Scranton Prep advances to Friday’s semifinals against Western Wayne. Lakeland and Mid Valley meet in the other semifinal. The two winners advance to the 18-hole Class 2A final at Elkview Country Club on Wednesday at noon.
