Los Angeles Rams 24–20 Philadelphia Eagles

Kyren Williams ran for two touchdowns in the final four minutes as Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams rallied from a 10-point deficit to beat the Philadelphia Eagles. The Rams had struggled offensively all afternoon and a win seemed out of reach until late in the fourth quarter, when Eagles coach Nick Sirianni decided against kicking a chip-shot field goal that would have made it a three-score game and instead went for it on fourth down. The Eagles failed to convert, giving the Rams new life. Stafford led touchdown drives of 98 and 79 yards, with Williams scoring the go-ahead touchdown from seven yards out. Both teams are 2-2 on the season.

Kansas City Chiefs 30–27 Las Vegas Raiders

Patrick Mahomes remained undefeated at Allegiant Stadium, passing for 225 yards and two touchdowns, and Kenneth Walker III rushed for 177 yards and two TDs to lead the Chiefs to a tight victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. Walker’s two-yard touchdown run with 3:21 left put the Chiefs ahead for good at 23-19. It was set up by Tyquan Thornton’s 55-yard reception on the previous play. Thornton suffered a serious injury on the catch and was carted off the field. Kirk Cousins passed for 365 yards and two touchdowns for the Raiders, who fell to 3-1 and had a chance to win before Cousins was intercepted in the final minute. The Chiefs are 4-0.

New England Patriots 29–26 Buffalo Bills

Drake Maye completed 22 of 37 passes for 269 yards and three touchdowns, including a late, go-ahead TD pass ⁠to Efton Chism III, to lead the New England Patriots to victory. Chism’s leaping, one-handed ⁠23-yard TD ​catch plus Maye’s pass to Rhamondre Stevenson for the two-point conversion gave the Patriots a 29-26 lead with 1:50 to play. Craig ⁠Woodson intercepted a Josh Allen pass at the New England 19-yard line on the ensuing possession, and the Patriots (2-2) were able to run ⁠out the clock and hand Buffalo (3-1) their first loss in their new stadium.

Denver Broncos 14–24 San Francisco 49ers

Brock Purdy threw two touchdown passes and Christian McCaffrey ran for a score to lead the undefeated San Francisco 49ers to victory over the Denver Broncos (2-2). Both offenses struggled to generate offense on a hot day in the Bay Area but the 49ers took advantage of a fumbled punt return by Marvin Mims Jr to set up a short touchdown drive in the third quarter that gave them the lead for good.

Dallas Cowboys 34–30 Houston Texans

CeeDee Lamb had a career-high 17 catches for 189 yards and his 12-yard TD reception with 40 seconds left lifted the Dallas Cowboys to a win over Houston to keep the Texans winless. Javonte Williams ran for a career-high three touchdowns – all in the second half – to help the Cowboys to the victory. Dallas trailed by four points after a six-yard touchdown run by Woody Marks with less than three minutes to play. Dak Prescott then orchestrated an 11-play, 74-yard drive that included a fourth-down conversion and capped it with the throw to Lamb to give the Cowboys (2-2) the victory.

Tennessee Titans 18–24 Baltimore Ravens

Lamar Jackson threw for 222 yards and two touchdowns on 15-of-20 passes but exited early in the Ravens’ 24-18 victory over ⁠the Tennessee Titans. The Ravens (3-1) snapped a four-game losing streak in their home stadium but needed their defense to hang ⁠on after the Titans (0-4) ⁠held them ​scoreless in the second half without Jackson, who did not play in the second half. Jackson was sacked on Baltimore’s final play of ⁠the second quarter by Jermaine Johnson II, who landed on Jackson’s left ankle. Jackson left the stadium in a protective boot after the game. “He was just dealing with a little bit of an ankle,” the Ravens head coach, Jesse Minter, said. “I don’t know enough about it right now, but we’ll have to see where that’s at.”

Los Angeles Chargers 23–30 Seattle Seahawks

Emanuel Wilson caught a touchdown pass and ran for another score and the Seattle Seahawks handed the Los Angeles Chargers a fourth straight loss to start the season. Sam Darnold threw for 168 yards and two touchdowns for the defending Super Bowl champions who are now 3-1 after rebounding from last week’s 33-31 loss to the Washington Commanders. Justin Herbert threw for 189 yards a touchdown and two interceptions for the 0-4 Chargers.

Arizona Cardinals 24–36 New York Giants

Jameis Winston threw three touchdowns passes to offset a pair of interceptions, Deonte Banks had a pick-six in the final seconds and the New York Giants (3-1) won another not-so-pretty game, defeating the Arizona Cardinals. Making his second start in place of injured franchise quarterback Jaxson Dart, Winston again did what he needed to do to engineer a victory with TD passes to Malachi Fields, Malik Nabers and Theo Johnson. The Cardinals (1-3) lost a third consecutive game since opening the season with a win in coach Mike LaFleur’s debut.

New York Jets 12–23 Chicago Bears

Kyle Monangai rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns and the Chicago Bears (3-1) stuffed the New York Jets for a 23-12 victory. Devin Bush, Austin Booker and Dayo Odeyingbo each had a sack as Chicago limited New York to seven first downs and 157 yards overall. The Bears have allowed a total of 28 points in three games since their wild 59-37 victory at Carolina in their season opener. Tyson Bagent passed for 268 yards for Chicago, and Cairo Santos kicked three field goals. Minkah Fitzpatrick ended New York’s NFL-record interception drought at 20 games, but the Jets (1-3) dropped their third consecutive game.

Miami Dolphins 10–15 Minnesota Vikings

TJ Hockenson had 13 receptions for 119 yards, and the Minnesota Vikings held on for a close ⁠win over the Miami Dolphins. Kyler Murray completed 27 of 37 passes for 247 ⁠yards for Minnesota, ⁠who are ​4-0 for the 11th time in franchise history. Aaron Jones Sr finished with 128 all-purpose yards (94 rushing, 34 ⁠receiving) and Will Reichard kicked five field goals. Ollie Gordon II had nine carries for 100 yards and a touchdown to lead ⁠Miami (0-4). Malik Willis completed nine of 17 passes for 85 yards and ​lost a fumble.

Jacksonville Jaguars 22–17 Cincinnati Bengals

Trevor Lawrence passed for 227 yards and a touchdown, Jacksonville’s defense forced two critical turnovers and the Jaguars held off the Cincinnati Bengals. Joe Burrow passed for 428 yards for the Bengals (2-2), who lost All-Pro wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase to a concussion in the second quarter. Tee Higgins had 11 receptions for 151 yards. Burrow, who completed 39 of 54 passes, also had two costly interceptions – one that Jacksonville (3-1) converted into a touchdown and the other when the Bengals were in the red zone. The Bengals had a final chance to rally and drove to the Jaguars 21, but Chase Brown was stopped short on fourth down. Higgins also suffered an adductor injury near the end of the game, and could join Chase on the sidelines.

Green Bay Packers 17–14 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Jordan Love threw two touchdown passes and the Green Bay Packers’ defense forced a pair of interceptions en route ⁠to victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Love completed 22 of 30 passes for 197 yards ⁠and Tucker Kraft ⁠had six ​catches for 42 yards and a score for the Packers (2-2), who moved to 2-0 on the road. Rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels, making ⁠his first career start, completed 19 of 27 passes for 148 yards and a touchdown for Tampa Bay (0-4). Daniels also rushed for 55 yards as he played in place of the ​injured Baker Mayfield.

Jonathan Taylor rushed for two touchdowns and Colts quarterback Daniel Jones ran one in and Indianapolis beat Washington in London after the Commanders lost yet another quarterback to injury. Marcus Mariota, who was starting in place of the injured Jayden Daniels, left the game after Washington’s second drive because of a knee injury. Third-string rookie quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis was called into action. Taylor rushed for 95 yards on 20 carries as the Colts overcame two turnovers from Jones, who completed 19 of 34 passes for 134 yards with an interception and a fumble.
