Nico Collins makes a huge return

So much for needing time to shake off the rust.

Collins caught seven passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns in Houston’s 34-30 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. He announced his return immediately, taking his first catch 45 yards before finishing Houston’s opening possession with a seven-yard touchdown reception. He added his second touchdown in the third quarter.

Collins had missed the previous two games with a hamstring injury, making his performance even more encouraging for a Texans offense that badly missed its top receiver.

Roman Wilson finds the end zone again

Roman Wilson is starting to find a groove in Pittsburgh.

Wilson caught three passes for 74 yards and a touchdown in the Steelers’ 27-24 loss to Cleveland on Thursday night. His score opened the scoring for Pittsburgh and marked his second straight game with a touchdown.

After recording three catches for 60 yards and a touchdown in Week 3, Wilson has now produced 134 receiving yards and two scores over his last two games.

Dominic Zvada remains automatic

Michigan fans know all about Dominic Zvada’s ability to deliver from long range, and it has carried directly into the NFL.

Zvada connected on all three of his field-goal attempts in the Giants’ 36-24 win over Arizona, hitting from 39, 50 and 52 yards. He also made his lone extra-point attempt, giving him 10 points on the afternoon.

The undrafted rookie still has not missed a kick through the first four games of his NFL career.

Mason Graham suffers injury

Unfortunately, Week 4 also brought some bad injury news for one of Michigan’s young defensive stars.

Mason Graham exited Cleveland’s win over Pittsburgh after suffering injuries to his knee and ankle. An MRI later revealed an MCL sprain and an ankle sprain, and the Browns said his return will be evaluated on a week-to-week basis.

Graham had been off to an outstanding start before the injury. Through four weeks, he has 15 tackles, six tackles for loss, five quarterback hits and four sacks, which leads Cleveland and was tied for third in the NFL following Thursday’s game.

Colston Loveland has best game of season

Colston Loveland took a step forward in Chicago’s 23-12 win over the New York Jets.

Loveland caught six passes for 57 yards and led the Bears in both receptions and targets. It was easily his most productive outing of the season, after a relatively quiet opening three weeks.

Fellow former Wolverine Devin Bush also made an impact for Chicago, recording four tackles and a sack of Geno Smith. Bush was given a game ball after the victory.

Rashan Gary records first sack with Dallas

Rashan Gary got on the board with his new team against Collins and the Texans.

Gary recorded two tackles and his first sack of the season in Dallas’ 34-30 victory, bringing down C.J. Stroud.

The sack was Gary’s first since joining the Cowboys after spending the first seven seasons of his career with Green Bay.

Aidan Hutchinson keeps bringing pressure

Aidan Hutchinson didn’t record a sack in Detroit’s 32-26 loss to Carolina, but he remained one of the Lions’ most disruptive defenders.

Hutchinson generated seven pressures and two quarterback hits while playing 70 of Detroit’s 75 defensive snaps.

Rookie Jimmy Rolder also made his presence felt, making a tackle for loss early in the game. Derrick Moore played eight defensive snaps as part of Detroit’s edge rotation.
