CONCORD, N.C. (WBTV) – All three of NASCAR’s top series will be back in action at Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend, Oct. 9-11.
The Truck Series race will be the first of the weekend on Friday night, followed by the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race on Saturday afternoon, and then the Cup Series race on Sunday afternoon.
All three series are currently in “The Chase,” with only a handful of races left in the 2026 season at each level of competition.
After failing to win during the regular season, Kyle Larson has been on a tear since The Chase started, and has opened up a 40-point lead in the Cup Series points standings.
One thing NASCAR fans should know is that for the first time since 2017, the fall Charlotte race will be held on the 1.5-mile oval — not the “Roval” road course.
Fans should also know that a celebration of life is scheduled for Friday night in memory of the late Kyle Busch.
A day-by-day schedule of on-track events is below, although Hurricane Isaias could upend the weekend schedule. Fans can keep up with the latest weather coverage here.
