Investigators noted that they collected evidence establishing that Johnson was intoxicated while driving, which contributed to the death of the 23-year-old Sebock.
Johnson, listed as a senior linebacker for Southeastern Oklahoma State University, was released from medical care and arrested for intoxication manslaughter.
“We are deeply saddened to confirm that one student has died as a result of the accident. The other student was hospitalized. Our hearts are with their families, friends, teammates, and all those affected by this tragic loss,” the university shared.
Loved ones have since set up a GoFundMe to help support Sebock’s family.
