Will 2026 see a team join the Hoosiers and 2023 Michigan and make it four out of the last five national champions to finish with perfect seasons? We’re tracking every undefeated team here.

No. 2 Georgia (6-0)
Georgia picked up one of the best wins over the season after going in to Tuscaloosa and leaving with a win over a top-10 Alabama squad. The Bulldogs haven’t gone undefeated since winning the CFP title in 2022, but are off to a good start. They could face a trap game with Auburn coming up before a rivalry game against Florida.
No. 3 Notre Dame (6-0)
Notre Dame blasted its rival Stanford 58-7 to move to 6-0. The Fighting Irish now face their biggest test of the season on the road against a fellow undefeated team, BYU.
No. 4 Miami (FL) (5-0)
Miami beat Clemson in its last outing before its bye week. Now the Hurricanes play rival Florida State in a primetime battle.
No. 7 Indiana (6-0)
Indiana is coming off a 16-0 undefeated season where it won the national championship. The Hoosiers have won 22 straight games dating back to last season. They haven’t been challenged with a ranked opponent so far, but that will all change when a top-10 Ohio State team comes to town.
No. 8 BYU (5-0)
BYU is undefeated after one season after finishing as Big 12 runner-up. The Cougars have won all but one game by multiple scores this season ahead of a huge top-10 clash against fellow unbeaten foe Notre Dame.
No. 11 Texas Tech (5-0)
Texas Tech already has a ranked win, defeating then-No. 22 Houston in September. That two-point victory was the closest game the Red Raiders have played this season, with every other win coming by multiple scores.
No. 12 Utah
Utah has handily beat every opponent on the schedule this season, winning by no more than 14 points in this run. A look-ahead at the remaining games show intriguing matchups with Houston and BYU.
No. 21 UCLA
UCLA picked up a statement win after going into Eugene to beat Oregon for the first time since 2004. The Bruins only have one ranked opponent left on the schedule, a season-finale against crosstown rival Southern California.
NR James Madison (6-0)
James Madison has started the season undefeated after making the College Football Playoff last year. The Dukes avoided a road scare at Georgia Southern in a three-point win, and look to continue its run a Sun Belt play continues.
