Despite the difficult start time, the Atlanta Dream announced they sold out their ticket inventory for Game 6 of the 2026 WNBA Finals.
Tip-off was moved up to 12:30 p.m. ET on Thursday so the Dream and Golden State Valkyries could use State Farm Arena:
With a sellout, around 17,000 fans should be on hand for the event.
The venue situation was only sorted out Monday, so fans didn’t have a lot of advance notice. Even in the best of circumstances, an afternoon start on a weekday isn’t an optimal window for a Finals game, either.
Despite both of those hurdles, State Farm Arena is guaranteed to have an electric atmosphere.
The Dream are facing a must-win situation after losing Game 5 64-55 on Monday.
To have any hope of extending the series, Atlanta needs more from stars Angel Reese and Allisha Gray. They combined to score 17 points on 6-of-20 shooting their last time out.
Valkyries center Kiah Stokes has made her presence felt in the Finals as well. She’s averaging 10.6 rebounds and 3.4 blocks per game.
The Dream will be in serious trouble if Stokes can continue to neutralize Reese around the basket.
Should a Game 7 be required, the winner-take-all decider will be Saturday at 8 p.m. ET inside Chase Center in San Francisco.
