The Sebring City Council unanimously approved Tuesday a lease agreement of the city’s golf course to H&L Golf Group, of Fort Myers, which is headed by Harry Leonard.
City Attorney Bob Swaine said the principal of H&L Golf Group is excited to get started. He wants to start Dec. 1.
There is a slight change in the list of personal property that has been scaled back to take out items that should stay with the property, Swaine said. “He (Leonard) hasn’t flinched at any of those requested changes. He is real easy to work with. He is ready to get started,” Swaine said.
There were no questions or comments from the public or council members.
