With a 1.72 ERA this was no doubt and well deserved. Congratulations 👏👏👏👏👏👏.
As a giants fan he had the best season I had seen ever pitch, just coming off of Tommy John surgery and had a 1.75 ERA in 28 starts with and 18-4 win loss record at the age of 39. Glad he got his 3rd cy young winner and is definitely a hall famer. Congrats my man JV on winning your 2nd ring buddy.

Verlander is truly one of the greatest pitchers to ever play the game. He came back from Tommy John surgery at the age of 39 and pitches a 1.75 ERA and just dominates his opponents. Truly was a no-brainer for CY Young.
Imagine if you had Verlander and Scherzer on the same team!

His season was unreal, but then you add that he did it coming back from TJ surgery and not having pitched for nearly 2 years. Insane! We really need to lock him down.

Would love to see him finish out his career back in Detroit but the team doesn't have the money to get him & even if they did they don't have the team to consistently get him wins. Good luck to Justin where ever he signs & as a Tiger fan we'll be pulling for him to go get those 300 wins. 👍
