  1. Hopefully he can put it together eventually with the Raiders. Would love to see him ball out. Might take time tho.

  2. From everything I’ve seen from AO4 the only problem he has is sometimes he gets stuck in a, “fuck it, I can make that throw” mindset and it leads to trouble. But I love that, it’s confidence and if his OC puts him in the right play it all good. He’s very accurate and that release will make our OL look better than it should.

I’m in the “believe again” phase of the offseason and I don’t care.

  3. lol you can’t throw half those passes in the league. The other half we’re guys running wide open.

Hope the best for him obviously, but man..

  4. If you’re a Raider fan and hate Mcdaniels, then you have to be rooting against this kid. PERIOD. Without a doubt the most important thing an NFL front office and staff has to do is draft and develop players. And as far as developing QBs go, thats on McDaniels. So, do you want his kid to succeed?

  5. They love the flea flickers, they love the arm strength, they love the pocket presence, they love the quick release. He passed a lot to TE’s and RB’s as well throughout his career which is also a plus for McDaniels and company. There wasn’t a better fit in this draft schematically for them (that wasn’t a top 10 pick) so it makes perfect sense. However, he’s obviously got to make some better decisions and understand that he can’t make a lot of those dangerous throws in the NFL. He’s not afraid to throw it to a receiver that’s double covered or bracketed, this is exactly what Tae told DC4 – just because I’m covered don’t mean I’m not open. I’ve got a good feeling about him at LEAST being a serviceable backup for many years. A guy who COULD carry us through the playoffs in a pinch, unlike when Connor Cook had to come in and we all know what happened there in Houston.

Really interesting guy – hopefully he turns into a starting QB for us.

    edit: typos, it was early.

  6. Listen i rooted for Bruce, Mcgloin and even Cook, im ready to be hurt again.

  7. if all we need is a guy who can execute the JMD offense, he looks like he’s it

  8. I see some promising things, but only time will tell.

At the very least, looks like we probably have a serviceable backup with some upside to end up as the starter after some development.

  9. I’m a huge Tennessee fan…. Our defense was so bad this year it was comical.
