Are you happy with Anthony Volpe’s professional .200 egghead?
What a fucking scumbag answer . I hate this guy.
#FUCKING DELUSIONAL
Isn’t that a Firestone slogan or some horse shit.
Brian, we all know you don’t give a shit about results as long as the process is sound. This quote screams that.
And we wonder why our players look lazy and unmotivated.
There’s zero accountability especially for our very well paid veterans who literally have nothing to lose. You suck? No worries we’ll run you out there for 2 extra years of horrid production!
Again, people get annoyed with the constant comps back to George but he would literally throw cashman out of the press box for saying this. Such a loser attitude.
Honestly the full quote doesn’t sound as bad as the tweet does.
It’s like Brian Cashman piloting the Titanic: ‘I’m happy with the crew’s commitment, happy with their care. Ultimately, I know I’ll be happy with the iceberg collision. We call that a homerun in my book.'”
Why won’t they fire this man? Send Aaron Boone with him. Every year its the same crap.
Soooo…he’s been happy with the results for 13 years?
I don’t pay good money to see this product, watch a loss in-person, and walk out of the Stadium saying, “well, at least they cared tonight!”
Cashman be smoking that good shit huh
“Commitment and Care” is the new “Intent and Compete”
Our front office is a fucking joke lol
We will all collectively be happy when Cashman is gone.
Aside from like dictators and sociopaths I think Brian Cashman is probably my most disliked person on earth.
Fuck Hal Steinbrenner, Brian Cashman and fuck this whole organization for this whole stupid philosophy where they think every year is a 300 game season.
Since 2017 the end result is getting bounced in the postseason… not sure what I should be happy for
GET.
RID.
OF.
HIM.
I am so fed up with the passionless, soulless corporate environment that Benito Il Duce Cashman has created. This organization is absolutely drowning in baseless arrogance and complacency.
Everyone in and around this organization is afraid to offend Benito Il Duce Cashman by criticizing him or openly disagreeing with him, everyone from the players to the coaches to the front office personnel to the beat writers who need to maintain access to the Yankees. What this organization needs is someone with equal or greater rank and authority than Cashman who can look him in the face at corporate meetings and say out loud “No, Brian, you’re wrong. That is a terrible idea. We are not doing that”.
That sounds like some sort of participation trophy bullshit right there lol
Good lord I’m tougher on my two grade school children than this guy
It’s easy to be so content when you know you’re gonna have a job regardless on if your players perform or not.
What a dick head. And Hal is a dick head too for employing this asshole and giving him free rein with no accountability.
It’s the same shit every year with this clown. How long are we supposed to keep his and the FO’s dick in our mouths? It’s time to REVOLT!!!
I’m done. Cancelled YES.
Complacent or delusional, or both..this is no longer a slump, their .298 OBP is for the whole fucking season, not just the 2 weeks judge has missed..this was an average offense with Judge, worse then the A’s and Royals without him, two of the worst franchises in the history of the sport. This belief that all of these guys are just going to flip a switch and start hitting is the delusional part. The unwillingness to make any change is the complacency part
He was happy with last year’s end results too. So much so he decided to run it back
Aaron “Deflection” Boone
The approach doesnt matter if the talent is bad
Its insane the Yankees I grew up with, and now they are so boring and content with mediocrity lately. Truly incredible 180, Boone and Cashman made this culture happen as well yet both got rewarded.
Cashman has more job security than a Supreme Court justice
