  1. Maeda getting a loss for only giving up 2 to the braves is honestly a tragedy

  2. This is the lineup the Saints ran out today

    1. Miranda, 3B
    2. Wallner, RF
    3. Garlick, DH
    4. Celestino, CF
    5. Larnach, LF
    6. Williams, 1B
    7. Camargo, C
    8. Prato, 2B
    9. Soto, SS

    P. Varland

  3. Fun fact: the Twins have 17 FULL SEASONS with less strikeouts than they do in just this half.

    I think we’re done here.

  4. Well I think it’s time to go back to the drawing board cause Rocco’s strategy of just hoping we get better shockingly doesn’t seem to be working. We’ll be in second place by the next time we play unless KC somehow wins two straight against Cleveland.

  5. * DFA Kep —> call up Wallner
    * 60 Day IL Buxton —> call up Miranda
    * DFA Gallo —> call up Larnach/Celestino

    * Dismiss at least 1 hitting coach

  6. 31st game scoring 2 runs or less. That’s just not a recipe for success y’all.

  7. T wins were 0 for 23 in the series with runners in scoring position. 17 for 71 in all other situations. Not much else to say.

Bigger picture, Cleveland has been average in offense in June after being close to last the first two months. The Twins have been bottom 5 in June after being about leave average.

My question is which will continue. Whichever team has the better offense in the second half will win the division. If the Twins aren’t able to out-hit Cleveland, then they deserved what they get.

  8. This has been too pitiful for way too long. This team needs a serious shake up. Call up Wallner, Miranda, get Kepler off this team, send Byron to the DL. This is just unbelievablely poor baseball. Castro shouldn’t be playing so much and give Jeffers even more time behind the plate

  9. The twins are fighting demons at the plate, just straight up swinging at nothing.

  10. 1 run against an elite pitcher, 2 runs against a up-and-coming pitcher, 0 runs against a AAAA pitcher.

    Your 2023 Twins!

  11. So does anyone have anything fun to talk about? I mean I spent money to watch this team and I’m not having fun anymore. I don’t see any hope on the horizon. Like does anyone have anything to say about this team?

  12. What Should Happen: Popkins fired, Kepler DFA’d, Gallo DFA’d, Buxton IL’d (He’s Useless as a DH)

    What Will Happen: Nothing

  13. Is 3 runs in 3 games a good thing? 3/3 is 100% and that’s perfect so I think it must be a good thing

  14. Twins Projected Season Wins Tracker:

The Twins are now on pace to win 79 games.

    Editorial: KKKKKKKKKKKKKK

  15. Legitimately what is popkins telling them to do. The k rate is insane.

  16. Eh, I don’t usually doom a whole lot, but this is terribly uninspiring. They really are playing like bums. Couldn’t score a single run, eh?

  17. Like i said in the game thread, Falvey and Levine won’t fire Popkins. Hiring a single A coach from another organization was their attempt to show how smart they are. No chance he gets canned.

They think they’re starring in Moneyball 2

  18. Lolol 14 strikeouts. This team is just not good. We need to start selling our hitters. I’d rather watch our young guys fail than to watch this shitty team. Kepler and Gallo are not MLB players right now. And Buxton is hitting 203. Hopefully the FO is held accountable in the off-season. We haven’t improved in the last 4-5 years

  19. Rocco keeps talking about adjustments on this post game interview. I am not sure what adjustments to make really. At the end of the day players have to step up. Really disappointed in correa and buxton in particular, they need to lead with their play.

  20. 2 games under .500 and tied with the Guardians. You absolutely have to do something to shake things up now.

  21. Do we have a version of Frank Fleming anywhere on Twins Twitter who will absolutely massacre this franchise like he always does with his Mets?

  22. Marlins are on pace to win 24 more games this year vs last year, even with Alcantara struggling.

Twins would be running away with the division if they still had Arraez. He’d be leading by example and it would be a cakewalk to the playoffs.

  23. We’re gonna lose Twins, you’re gonna snore! We’re gonna lose Twins, watch them fail to score! Choke down a hot dog, 1st place slips away! Weep for the Minnesota Twins today!

  24. I was hoping we could help Arráez and the Marlins this series. I am disappointed.

  25. what a lousy birthday gift this team has given me 🥲 im just gonna pretend Shohei was accidentally working in JST and singlehandedly beat the White Sox for me yesterday instead

  26. Can we, and I can’t fucking believe I’m saying this, try some goddam small ball? Unbelievable strikeout rates, constantly swinging for the fences, just hoping guys ‘figure it out,’ ain’t cutting it. Maybe manage the game and players. With the rise in velocity it stands to reason that an adjustment in hitting is required. I don’t know, I’m just some dickhead on the internet, but this offense doesn’t have to be this bad, I swear.
