Because this topic gets brought up a lot…
The major stats/grades in man vs zone coverage over the Packers career of Alexander, Douglas, and Stokes.
Seems like they are better in zone than man. Do with that what you will, but here is the data.
Would be much more meaningful if we could see the actual snap count. I have to assume the Man sample size is significantly smaller allowing one bad play to inflate the numbers.
So call more man plays clearly
This post is going to create a ton of butt hurt.
This is interesting data, I wouldn’t have guessed it except maybe for Douglas who seems to get beat a lot in man coverage.
I’d love to see the splits of this same data by field position, or at least red zone/goal line, rest of the field looks.
Great post, challenging some preconceived notions here that’s for sure.
