1. I’m an armchair analyst and have no credentials whatsoever but I feel like if Amen released the ball at a higher point his shot would be better. It seems like he releases it really low.

2. Amen’s shot is looking better but his alignment is still off and his release is pretty slow. As long as he is good enough to make defenders honest on the perimeter I’m happy. Cam’s jumper looks wet.

4. I find what they’re training for much more interesting. Amen seems to be trying to develop a mid-range game, which makes sense because when he can’t get all the way to the basket he needs a mid-range shot. Meanwhile Cam working on 3s mean the Rockets are probably looking at him as mostly a spot up shooter next year.

11. Cam’s shot is silky smooth. I know he didnt shoot a great 3% at Nova last year, but his shot really stood out on his tape
