  1. This was a really good signing hes exacty what we have needed for awhile a defenseman who can take sone pressure off of reilly and help drive the offense from the backend because lastyear imparticular our defense was top 5 in the leauge at keeping the puck out but bottom of the leauge in offense and you cant win like that this day and age

  2. So don't resign a very affordable Gustaffson? I'm utterly confused at this point. Treliving came in talking about a new harder forechecking team with a bit of nasty and ability to instigate and finish scrums. Yet, the team is factually getting softer with letting players walk and bringing in a D like Klingberg. Sure, a 4th liner in Reaves may be okay for a year with his 9 minutes a night, but letting Schenn, Acciari, ROR leave is a mistake. At the least, Acciari signed a reasonable contract that the Leafs certainly should have matched. I guess things aren't finished, yet here again we have running things back with the core causing all sorts of issues finishing out a competitive roster. And the Icing on the cake is Matthews and Marner now completely control their own fates. Dubas royally messed the club up. From the insane contracts of Am/MM to the overpayment for Tavares when everyone and their daughter knew the club needed (and still does) a 1st pairing D.

  3. He’ll play on the right point on the powerplay alongside Morgan Rielly. There’s still time to trade Matt Murray and Samsonov for Hellebuyck.
