Glad to see Clarke get the dub!
Nice that we got the W, but wtf is goin on with Rizz and Stanton..? They sure are taking a longer time than usual getting into form returning from their injuries.. It’s been over a month and other than a few good recent hits from Stanton, they’ve been non existent.. Hope this isn’t indicative of future performances.
We have to bring back bader. Fuck all you doubters.
Offense coming back to life over these last two games is nice to see especially without Judge. Helps when you have Bader in the lineup. Excellent day for Gleyber. Yankees are now 13-13 in Judge’s absence. Series win in our sights.
Clarke’s era might not look super pretty the last 3 starts, but a dirt cheap number 5 starter never giving up more than three runs is pretty fucking sweet
6 runs yesterday and 8 today. We have won from great pitching but the offense showing up in big situations is such a beautiful sight to see
2 games behind Baltimore now.
Cooked Orioles for Freedom dinner!!!! Birds on the grill!
God Bless New York on America Day!
Ain’t worth the time talking about Hicks and the fans booing. Took 2 games off of a divisional rival that is right in front of us in the standings, and it’s the 4th of July. Enjoy the holiday and team playing well instead of that shit
Today was Gleyber Day.
Oswaldo went from fan fav to bum in such a short period of time. And it’s understandable. Dude is bad this year and it sucks to see.
It is a thing of beauty remembering that the Orioles have never had a problem getting an erection. _maintaining_ said erection, however… that’s where they’ll need some help.
Couple of big wins. Kinda sucks that we still have to win a 3rd game or we’ll have made up no ground on them though.
How does Nelson Cruz get DFA’d hitting .245 but we still got JD lol.
I’m liking the standings, let’s go for the kill these next two days
Baltimore is what happens when you are terrible for a decade and hit on your picks.
They will be scary once they develop some pitching . Question is how much will their owner spend ?
The catcher s going to make a fortune , can’t keep all the young players etc
“You can’t boo your own team’s players, but you also can’t boo other team’s players.”
The discourse is dumb and completely soft.
No better way to celebrate the 4th than a Yankees victory.
Let’s finish these birds and throw them on the barbie.
I hope the Yankees are smart and extend volpe early, buy out some free agent years . Like the should have with judge once he proved himself , instead of waiting and paying more
YES Network giving the player of the game to Hicks
SWEEEEEP EM PLS
Just realized this is a 4 game series
The booing of Hicks is to me more about sending a message to cashman and Hal, then booing the player. Hicks represents a player that struggled for so long, kept getting chance after chance not from production but because of his salary. Hicks fits with donaldson.
Who is this team and what did they do with the New York Yankees?
All of a sudden the Yankees currently have the best last 10 streak in the AL at 7-3.
Gg
Super encouraging play these last few series. Even with the series L against the Cardinals the offense has for sure been getting better. Stanton, Bader, Volpe, Rizzo (despite the homeless streak), Bauers, have all been hitting well. Lets hope they keep it up when Judge returns.
GEORGE IS STILL HAPPY!
Elaine: Yankees are *still* in 3rd place! So HA!
Kramer: Yea, well we’re still aren’t the Mets!
[Newman](https://youtu.be/xbxsZjagMVA)
Just sat down to watch the game! I’m excited
Rizzo Productive from the Top
Gleyber Heating up
Stanton Showing signs of life
Master Bader
IKF Hanging Ten
Trevy Showing signs of life
Bullpen Shut it down
**The Log Cabin is going to be jam packed today**
*I can’t think of a better way to honor America*
Imagine a trade package for Ohtani? Absolute Unicorn ransom.
WC is back on. I’ve said it before and I will say it again, we will see the Yankees play in the WC series a number of times in the next several years. The bye that comes with the division and 1-2 seed is great but, in reality, 66-67% of teams that make the playoffs will need to play in that series. If the Yanks can play good to decent ball for the rest of the season and get hot enough at the end of September, it’s still possible. More and more WS winners will be WC teams going forward with the new playoff format.
It’s a little present just for me. 🌼☺️🇺🇲
I like to keep the red, white and blue: Yankees/Angels
And my black orange and October Yankees separate, Yankees/Giants
But this is a fantastic game.
If I knew Judge was coming back healthy, I would feel absolutely great about this team and our prospects THIS year. I think we’re as good as anyone – and we hopefully will have Nestor & Rodon for the 2nd half.
Really just hoping Judge comes back and plays well despite the toe, which sounds like it could nag.
Re: the booing. I don’t mind booing Hicks or any opposing player. I will continue to think booing our own players is lame and completely counter-productive.
I can’t wait to see Rodon pitch in pinstripes. Dude was insane last year. Was 3rd in K’s
Having cole as a right handed ace and then a lefty ace in Rodon is straight up unfair
I love it when the Yankees remind the Baltimore Orioles that they’re the Baltimore Orioles
We can’t allow them to get too big for their britches
bullpen scoreless again except for the shenanigans in the 9th
Let’s go Phillies.
For the sake of winning, I’d want our opponent in the WCS to be the AL Central winner, if we had to play in it at all.
But for the sake of the game? Give me the Orioles. These games already feel like the playoffs, can’t imagine what it’ll be like once we actually face off there.
DJ who is healthy has played about half the games over the last month plus. Worst signing of the last decade?
Here I am rooting for Philadelphia like a garbage person.
FUCK TAMPA!
Manoah is returning the Blue Jays and will pitch Friday. Kinda insane, no?
DFA DJL and Josh
Can we catch the Rays?
Of course we can catch the Rays.
