Andy: “Hey Brian lets try drafting a pitcher that might belong in the front of a major league rotation some day and develop him ourselves. It looks like the last time we did that was…me? In 1994?”
Cashman: *hollow empty 1000 word politician response that means nothing*
Andy: Wow you sure are right Brian *collects paycheck* we really are just unlucky for 30 years straight
This is either a publicity stunt because they know the fan base is pissed or Cashman is planting the seed to fire Boone and make Pettitte the new manager.
