  2. Over the last few weeks I’ve wondered why I’m still watching. I guess it’s because I want to see the players succeed even if the team can’t? I want to see our underperformers get back into the swing (ha) of things. I want to see Alvarez and Baty continue to develop. I want some morsel of hope for next year I guess.

Plus GKR are so so great and we are lucky to have them.

  3. Hopefully Max pitches well enough tonight to get his trade value up enough that the Mets can move him before the deadline.

  4. Ok. Last night’s trade has fully sunk in for me, it is what it is, I’m not bitter or upset, hopefully the young players develop in the years to come.

But what I will say is I would have felt more “do it, sell” in the direct aftermath of a loss against the Nats/Royals instead in the midst of a possible(!) winning streak. But that’s me just talking about spilt milk. A single loss against the Nats or Royals woulda been the final death blow to this season’s run. The selloff coming in the midst of a win last night kinda hit odd to me. Idk if I’m alone with this feeling.
