  1. If they wanted it to believable they should’ve at least put a few uh’s and you know’s in the quote.

  2. Why is that CBC reporter even sharing it as news?

EDIT: Thanks for commenting it’s a fake page on a different link. I definitely overlooked that in the screenshot.

  3. I’ve reported/blocked so many ads, and literally 15 posts later I see it again. Let’s face it, there’s nobody in the reporting department.

  4. reddit supporting scams? i thought redditors told me this platform is better than tiktok twitter or instagram😠

  5. Man I wish someone had told me that this was a scam before I invested all my first round picks in Griffin Reinhart

  6. If you ever see something claiming to “scare big _____(insert industry here)” or to be an opportunity to “make millions” it’s almost certainly a scam. All of these scam adds use nearly identical verbiage, and what sucks is they take such little effort to put together that if they work even a single time it’s worth it for the scammer

  7. The scammers hijack all kinds of celebrities, and it’s not just reddit.

  8. according to these images, dude can’t even afford a blade on his hockey stick.

  9. Hilarious to think that McDavid is out here being the best in hockey yet still has time to strike fear in the big Banks, Connor you are a hero

  10. You guys have ads on Reddit?!

How people can use the internet without an Ad Blocker still makes no sense to me.

  11. Well Snoop Dogg and Dana were saying NHL superstars couldn’t promote the sport and here we already, the poster boy of a global scam.

  12. I only take financial advice from people who have won a cup. Kurtis MacDermid is my guy.
