3. I think this means the 3rd team in the waiver order placed the claim. He didn’t get very far.

5. I’m not sure he was ever a legit pitcher. He never had a successful season in AAA even before the tweaks to his pitching and he was pretty bad first go around at the big league level too. Even at AA first go around his era was almost 4 which is pretty high for that level of play

9. If he ends up good in some role in the major leagues….. it will be yet another black eye on an organization that can’t properly develop or rehabilitate talent.

13. I remember being told he was off limits, couldn’t be traded, was the next Pedro Martinez, and that he would be a star. People on this sub over value and over hype these prospects that all inevitably bust. Specifically in this case, we could have traded him away at peak value for help to compete in our window.
