For that price, this seems like a really nice 1-2 combo to have. Stevenson is probably still the feature back here, but this seems like really awesome insurance to have, and a mentor to the rest of the group
Why didn’t we just pay Damien Harris?
Damien Harris: 1 year, $1,770,000 contract ($1,120,000 base) with a $600,000 signing bonus and $1,000,000 guaranteed.
Not a bad price for a guy that may single handedly keep Mac alive.
He’s going to be very useful. This is a great August signing for the Pats.
And as soon as we made this move, the Jets signed Dalvin Cook
I foresee lots of 1 TE / 1 RB shotgun sets with Zeke blocking and TE running checkdown / hot routes to make up for the O-Line.
