The homes of Dodgers infielders Max Muncy and Freddie Freeman were burglarized recently, according to a Los Angeles Police Department sources who requested anonymity because they weren’t authorized to speak on the record.
Muncy’s home was broken into by two suspects earlier this month while he and his family were at Dodger Stadium. The veteran third baseman was driving home when his alarm company alerted him about the burglary. TMZ reported that the suspects were captured on video but had fled before police arrived.
Freeman’s home was burglarized several weeks ago. A law enforcement source said he was not home and that there is no evidence to connect the two burglaries at this stage. Law enforcement typically only publicly connects burglaries involving celebrities and sports stars when arrests are made and stolen items recovered.
A week ago, Dodgers shortstop Miguel Rojas’ Lamborghini was burglarized in downtown Los Angeles, police sources told The Times. A suspect smashed the driver’s side window and stole items from the vehicle, including his mother-in-law’s purse and electronic devices, sources said.
Rojas reportedly was having dinner at a restaurant near West Olympic Boulevard and South Broadway at the time.
Just remember that robberies are down 6.6% in Los Angeles and individual situations don’t mean “LA is ruined” or whatever
Rich people’s homes get broken into all the time, it rarely happens twice because it puts more attention on that property
Damn, didn’t Rosario’s car get broken into recently?
Guilty parties to be drug out into the street and publicly beaten. Applications for this are available at usajobs.gov
It’s interesting how these thieves can get away. Makes me wonder how sophisticated they are. These homes are probably not easy to get into.
Didn’t see the pluralization of homes at first and thought the Muncys and Freemans lived together lol
Man, I’ve lived in Southern California for 50 years and I’ve never had my home burglarized. However, my catalytic was recently stolen…
