Not a big loss. He would really have to ball out in a whole new system weeks before opening day if he’s even on the field enough for the giants, that’s a long shot, they still might not resign him. He’s a rental. If he works out for New York, cool, but most likely he’ll be a free agent next year
I’m not saying don’t pick up the phone if Khan could get this deal done but we already have 3 safeties lol
Baker is unquestionably better than anything we have at SS right now, but he’d be a pure rental as I don’t think we could or should be putting a large portion of the cap into two safeties.
If the price is cheap enough though I guess I wouldn’t be opposed to it.
