HERE’S THE BEST PART
Ok now ban online gambling commercials that don’t feature athletes and celebrities
Wait, you don’t want to know what the worlds favourite sportsbook is? you don’t want to know what the live odds are? You don’t want to know what I got in my hand? /s
But how will I know where to go to build my own bet if Jesse Pinkman doesn’t remind me every single commercial break?
this is the greatest moment of my life.. another aaron paul commercial viewing may have been my last straw
ITS KING TIME STEVE!!!
Well, I didn’t have this on my same day PARLAY.
Put a ban against putting an sports betting ad every 2 minutes. Sportsnet would go broke.
This is a great first step, but unfortunately online gambling commercials aren’t going away.
And what is up with that Tonybet commercial? The actor wearing uniforms that someone who has never seen sports imagines they look like? What’s their demographic, theatre kids who never watch sports but need that sweet sweet action?
Amazing. Way overdue. Why not just ban them flat out?
But how will I ever see Aaron Paul again!!??
How do they define a celebrity?
I didn’t think a ban was needed but a limit definitely was. If choosing between a ban and nothing though the ban is definitely preferred.
Does that include having them built into the damn broadcast so they cannot interview some schmuck 10 minutes before each game about it?
Does this include betting segments on sports shows? Does cabbie count as a celebrity?
SAME GAME PARALAAAAAYYYYYY
Fuck off for good, Jesse Pinkman
This is just online, though? Not on the regular old TV?
Awesome! But who determines who is famous enough to be a celebrity? Is Ben Wagner still acceptable? Could a run of the mill commercial actor be so good at doing gambling ads that they become a celebrity in their own right?
Gambling commercials are no good, but alcohol commercials are just fine?
Because the problem we all had with online gambling ads is that Jesse Pinkman was promoting them.
Almost a step in the right direction by accident.
NO MORE BET 365 AARON PAUL ADS, LET’S GO!
WAIT
> The new rules, proposed by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), will go into effect at the end of February 2024.
**ck
Damn Aaron Paul just lost some royalties
So that one with Jamie Fox and Vanessa Hudgens screaming their heads off is gone? I’m so happy.
Step 2, limit how many they can show in a certain time frame.
What’s Jon Lovitz going to do now?
> End of February 2024
Hahaha see you in hell Nigel
This is a good start. Now can we get rid of gambling tutorials accessible to kids?
Accidental Chris Pronger can’t act all casual about dangerous gambling anymore
Thank god those ads were seriously ruining aaron paul for me
An outright ban on all gambling advertising would be even better.
