I was hoping to see a deal get done with Evans to help us get under the league minimum so this is a sign it might not happen.
We already had a cap hit of $23,650,000 for Barrett next year but his dead money was only $9,550,000. Now those numbers rise to around $26mill and $17mill which is a good sign that the coaches like what they have seen from Barrett because I doubt we release him with that hit for next year.
That’s dope because it helps us with Mike.
Heard good things about Shaq being back to his prior injury form. The defensive line getting to the QB is what will keep us competitive
Can someone explain this loophole to me? Doesnt it defeat the purpose of the salary cap?
“Well mister Mahomes here is your contract. It’s $34 a year. Here is your 200M bonus.”
