  1. Fuck Bruce Allen and Dan Snyder. If this is 100% true, this is one of, if not the biggest blunder in Bruce Allen’s time as GM.

  2. always said it was a mistake to let Kyle walk and it turn to let Kirk walk

Granted water under the bridge at this point but that was about the point where I was done with Snyder

  3. The amount of coaching and player talent that this bumblefuck FO let slip through their fingers over the past ~15 years is actually really fucking impressive. Like, you have to *try* to be this bad at running a fucking NFL franchise.

  4. Didn’t we kind of already know/suspect this?

There were rumors that Kyle wanted Kirk when he went to SF. The only real piece of information here is what Kyle was offering, which even then is sort of a foregone conclusion.

  5. We all knew this. Ego was involved in every stage of this, from Mike and Kyle Shanahan to how Kirk Cousins was handled. It’s a shame what Dan Snyder and Bruce Allen did to this franchise during those years. Kirk, Trent, Kyle, McVay, LaFleur. We’ll always be stuck wondering what could have been if we didn’t have vindictive egotistical imbeciles running this organization for all those years.

  6. bruce and dan might have been the least competent sports people (at any level) of all time

  7. It would have been the 2017 draft, so the likely choices would have been Watson/Mahomes, Jamal Adams, or taking Jon Allen higher than we ended up drafting him.

49ers ended up taking Solomon Thomas and that didn’t work out too well for them

  8. I thought this was pretty well know by know? Sheehan is close with Mike and Kyle and he’s been reporting the #3 pick was offered for Kirk for years.

  9. If it makes you guys feel better we would’ve pissed that number three pick away on a reach pick with an injury history

  10. Would this have been the Trubisky/Watson/Mahomes draft where Sam Fran picked Solomon Thomas at 3 overall?
