Ugliness aside from this era, Bengals media coverage today vs then is wild. Now it’s shows compiled on YouTube to podcasts to Twitter/Instagram, and that’s not even mentioning their own media networks. Back in the day you had news reports or radio shows.
I remember these days. We were, rightfully, a joke franchise (with a bad punchline) that was ignored by everyone outside the Cincy area, unless they were going to get an easy win against us that week.
Now, like 90% of all NFL ads I see feature Joey B. We’ve come soooo far…

Pretty sure if a Coach left a press conference like that now days it be a fine lol
I was there, it was called the 90s. Also, apparently we were still using the term lynch mob. Including after mentioning how our black quarterback was smiling. Yikes
90s started with the Victoria C incident early 90s. Horrible sick story. Absolute shit show of an organization. Riverfront sucked. Food sucked. Big duddy. Warren Sapp ddy humping akil after a sack. Fucking insanity
