I expected the defense to lay an egg but even the offense stinks
I just hope that we either win 10+ games or 5 and under
Hard to get yards on offense from the bench
12 yards, and 9 of them were a throwaway run play to wind the clock down instead of just kneeling it.
Geno should be on the hot seat after that bed shitting. That was the guy we saw for his entire career before last season.
Ya don’t get only 12 yards of offense in a half with a decent qb and a good head coach.
I suppose it’s only the 1st game, but it’s a home game and it’s against a division rival that accounted for 2 of our wins last year… and it wasn’t particularly close.
An absolute abomination.
We got lickens. I blame Geno more than the O line. Boy doesn’t look like a veteran. He has 2-4 seconds on every snap, but he just isn’t seeing the open receiver fast enough. He doesn’t scramble, he sits in a pocket that’s collapsing faster than the russian ruble, and he doesn’t even roll out. It’s almost like he thinks he’s safe in there.
Yes the O line sucks, but good QBs make it happen. Geno just doesn’t have that ability.
Hold up, let Geno leave the oven on.
At what point do we start questioning our coaches including the HC
It looked terrible, but let’s not get carried away and get all dramatic after one game. We have to see more to properly evaluate.
Everyone was to blame, it was a total ass reaming. This loss isn’t just fixed by benching a player. It was a team effort race to the bottom
I’m just gonna write this off as Week 1 and division rival game that went wrong and hope things improve.
They really love their fans to be doing a 12 thing on that level
Both tackles went out on the first drive of the second half and it shows. We couldn’t set the edge anymore and we were then unable to run. Then Geno had no time to do anything. Also where was our pass rush? they had basically free plays over the middle all game.
Poverty franchise, the lions are going to drop 50+ on this team
The fuck did I just watch
That was beyond atrocious
I feel like we had negative yards in the second half due to all those panalties and sacks at the end.
The middle of the field was auto 3rd conversions for the Rams. Couldn’t get the D off the field and when the O had a chance it was underwhelming
*Ralph Wiggum laugh*
We’re in danger.
Tough game to watch. Adjustments can be made and key plays can be made and a W can be had next week.
But it was really disappointing seeing the guys slumped, deflated, just completely done with the game with plenty of time to play. Someone needs to step up and be a leader when times are tough (it’s not DK or Geno)
The Aaron Donald affect lol just admit the guy just love destroying the Seahawk’s hope and dreams
We are in deep shit if THIS is what we have to offer.
This roster did not need Bobby Wagner over a proven. DT
I won’t rant on Geno, might just be a shit game.
Someone on the Lions call us chickens or something please
My favorite part was when it was 3 and Sanchez said something like, “Three yards in a half on offense … it’s just not enough.” Yep yep that’s the kind of insight he gets paid the big bucks for.
Can’t convert on third and can’t stop third. Recipe for success
who would’ve thought that not investing serious money or picks into the front four (the most important defensive unit) would lead to a bad defense!
Geno with 112 yards ain’t going to cut it, even if it’s 100% completion %. Have to throw way more. K9 is going to wear down
That’s not the 12-related stat I was hoping for lol
You cannot get consistent pass rush when there is no threat of pressure up the middle.
I’ll say it again for the people so happy we drafted a DB from a small school at #5 overall instead of the BPA DT who shall remain nameless:
***You cannot get consistent pass rush when there is no threat of pressure up the middle.***
We need to play more man defense. We have the talent to do so. Good QBs continue to carve our zone D up. Easy with no pressure
Let’s not overreact. There’s next season.
I mean defense didn’t help lol 🤷🏽♂️
By the time the Lions are done with this team its gonna look like a Jeffrey Dahmer crime scene
Most of that was on a meaningless last play.
This game was a complete encapsulation of the past five years. Sluggish and disorganized offense, porous defense with its highest paid players doing nothing, dumb penalties, and missed low pressure kicks. I wasn’t even mad at DK for his poor sportsmanship. It at least showed that he cared which is more than I can say for literally anyone else on that team. Zero heart. Zero dawg. This entire regime from ownership down needed to be replaced five seasons ago.

I’m not sure what is expected when you lose your starting RT and LT and WR2.
We need those guys healthy.
To be honest, our O Line was sus even with Cross and Lucas in.
New Seahawks fan here. This is fun!
Luckily we only have to play Aaron Donald one more time this year.
Bro the way I look at it, this is a good sign
Every year we made the playoffs with RW we had to take a Rams L
^^^^but ^^^^seriously ^^^^what ^^^^the ^^^^fuck ^^^^dude
Play calling was miserable
