[Thomas R. Peterson] Look at Fletcher Cox. Josh Jobe makes a big hit, starts taunting the opponent, and Cox immediately steps in and repeats “NO!”. Leadership from the vet. #Eagles

  1. Good move by Cox. I get it, being a rookie you’re jacked up about contributing in a game. Last thing you want is a taunting penalty.

  2. Re-signing him this offseason is already paying dividends, and will continue to for years to come, if these kids follow in his footsteps.

Preventing an unsportsmanlike penalty there may have preserved the win.

  3. Everybody forgetting to give Jobe some flowers for pummeling that returner lol. Special teams is still a mess but the gunners are dawgsssss.

  4. Smart dude right there. You just made a big play, take the W and move on, no need to give up free yards.

  5. Thought for sure he was going to get a taunting flag for this especially because the official was right there.

  6. Cox’s head shake and facial expressions after stopping Jobe from taunting had me dying

  7. Fletch has had to do this his whole career with BG and Jalen Mills lol. I remember Mills decided to flex or talk shit because the QB overthrew one ball after burning him for a whole game and Fletch pulled him back and told him to shut up.

  8. Give him a water bottle to spray the young players with.

    “NO! Bad special teamer. Bad!”

  9. I was absolutely shocked that he didnt get a taunting penalty. Was screaming at the TV seeing the ref right there watching the play.

  10. recall fletch absolutely chewing out one of his teammates in the vikings nfccg for doing something stupid like this.

we take for granted vet leadership at times, but it’s a vital part of playing the ultimate team sport like the nfl.

  11. I did catch that live. I’m surprised the flag wasn’t thrown TBH. After you tackle a player do whatever dance you want to do it, just do it in another direction.

  12. He’s not as dominant on the field as he once was, but I still proudly wear his jersey for his leadership.

  13. You know the refs were dying to slam that flag down on us for a 25 yard penalty if they could

  14. We got a sport where guys are giving themselves brain damage on every play but taunting is illegal. I don’t get it. Let them talk shit

  15. Co captain Jake Elliot did it too. And the get back coach/s&c coach was there to say good job to cox and Elliot for stopping Jobe lol
