[BR] Micah Parsons doesn’t think Giants should’ve kept Daniel Jones in the game at end of 40-0 blowout. “They should’ve protected him.”

  1. Are we at rock bottom yet? Even the team that was putting the whopping on us are offering sympathy and coaching advice.

  2. No shit. It seemed like Daboll was punishing the offense for their performance by making them stay on the field well after the game was over. I think he wanted to embarrass them but damn you can’t do that with the starting QB.

  3. I hope Daboll rolled a Nat 20 on a Charisma check, and convinced the offense that he truly believed in them, and that he thought they could come back, lol.

Otherwise this could reaaaalllly sour some of those guys… mutiny on the bounty style.

  4. Maybe we could’ve used hard knocks. This plan was silly. Only guys we should’ve kept in were the rookie wrs and dbs who needed practice as well as the poor o and d lineman.

  5. The fanbase, the coaches, the GM. All of us demonstrably got way out ahead of ourselves knowing FULL WELL that our OL was still a liability.

The fans became the loudest fanbase in the NFC. Schoen went out and spread out a ton of contract into cash to open up cap. Even Daboll was so blinded by whatever it was he was blinded by made some terrible decisions deeper and deeper into the game.

Chapter one was the Eagles, we had a whole summer to fix the problem, we fixed nothing, so the Cowboys finished writing the script.

I hope all of us learned something.

  6. he’s right. did some reporter ask daboll what the fuck went through his head to keep him in the game that late? i can’t think of a single good reason for why he was kept in and i don’t think one can be made. still love daboll but dude u deserve the shit your getting this week.

  7. He’s right. I’m still a Daboll supporter, but this is the worst game he’s coached his entire career. Start to finish, he made the wrong decision at every turn.

  8. It’s a bad look having our starting quarterback playing with the backups when it’s that big of a blowout

  9. I think it was Jones himself staying in the game, Daboll pulled him for the last drive but if Jones had his way I’m sure he would’ve played that final drive as well

  10. We could’ve drafted him, instead we just had to trade down and get Kadarius Toney.

I will say, if Thibodeaux and Neal become good (Neal’s only hope is being RG tbh), and with the whole Kadarius Toney trade for Waller and Tre Hawkins, then it might’ve been worth passing over Parsons. Are a bunch of good players worth one perennial all-pro? Only time will tell

  11. I said to my non giants friend early in the 3rd quarter, “They might as well pull their starters.” He agreed, thinking I was talking about the Cowboys players when in fact I meant the Giants….

  12. Did I really just see on the MNF ticker we are favored by 4 points this week against the Cardinals??? I dont bet anymore, but I would bet everything on Arizona sadly.

  13. I was assuming two things:

-The coaching staff was desperate for ANY points, just to make it slightly less embarrassing.

-A good drive/score at the end would have at least been a something to build on.

Even the smallest, saddest scrap of competence could have helped our psyche. Ugh…

  14. He ain’t wrong. Dallas should’ve pulled their starters earlier as well. They’re fortunate no one got hurt

  15. This is the second time Daboll has put his key players in jeopardy. You would think the fucker would’ve learned his lesson after he had our CB1 miss 4-5 weeks after receiving punts. But nooo, this dude comes around in Week 1, during a blowout in the pouring rain, and kept his franchise QB, who we just paid $160 MILLION, in the game to get sacked, pressured, and potentially hurt.

I was really on the Daboll train before, but I’m starting to think he’s just a dick head coach who can’t be trusted to make big decisions in key games. I’m really hoping he proves me wrong.

  16. My issue isn’t that Jones played a whole game..

It’s that with all our new weapons, 1 drive in the preseason is not enough to gel

That and the indecision to to with a pair of guards made it worse for our oline this past game.

Again not nearly enough time to gel… should have spent this time during preseason, instead of getting blown out due to practicing together and then having to treat week 1 like preseason game 4.

  17. I’d rather see what he does in the worst conditions

I get this shit from the Mets I don’t need it from the Giants

  18. Reminds me of dabolls decision to have adoree return punts. He’s a great coach that does stupid shit like this

  19. Micah Parsons probably shouldn’t have stolen his teammate’s clothes at Penn State and repeatedly dragged his dick over the guy’s ass, but I mean it’s Penn State so that shit just kinda flies there I guess.

  20. There’s a lot of defeatist talk going around.
    F that!
We’re down to criticizing Daboll already?
    Shame
