Herbert’s clutch gene narrative explained in three graphs. Herbert doesn’t stand out among peers in how good or bad he is at engineering game-winning drives or 4th quarter comebacks, he’s just asked to do them a lot more and the Chargers can’t win without him playing hero.

Damn this is super informative thanks for sharing
I don’t care what anyone says about him. He’s a clutch QB and he’s proved it. There’s so much pressure on him to be perfect. So frustrating watching other teams help their QB’s every week

The narrative is so silly. Who are you gonna get that‘s better than Herbert? Mac Jones? Wentz?
Meanwhile a replacement level HC is probs better than Staley
the narrative around Herbert and the revisionism with Rivers is wild to me. I love Phil but he ended many many games with a turnover. Herbert is still young and it’s clear that Moore is giving him the keys to the offense. for his long term development I hope that we can keep Kellen on at least for another year
But I’ve watched three games in his whole career, how can he be clutch???
Anyone that can deal with that hc is clutch. I woulda packed his bags after that Raiders game
The longer you wait the harder it will be to win a sb, you could go 20+ years after Herbert and not find a good qb.
